The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharov said that Russia is configured to a healthy dialogue with the United States. Zakharova stressed that the Russian Foreign Ministry speaks almost daily about readiness for “normal, healthy, pragmatic dialogue” with the United States. However, it should be based on equality, mutual respect and “some kind of understandable legal logic.”
According to the representative of the department, it is impossible to allow the situation when one party should take the forensic favorable for the second.
“I want to take away the property – take away, I want to introduce sanctions one-sided – accept them, I want to force the European Union to impose sanctions against us, and not to enter our own, in order not to harm our own manufacturers, – they do,” the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.
Diplomat also added, diplomacy is based on bilateral relations. She reminded that no one has canceled the documents that became the main consular agreements.
Earlier, Zakharov appreciated the prospect of the development of relations between Russia and the United States after the visit of the US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to Moscow. She noted that all the “problem points” in the dialog is well known.
