Right activists in India accused a local fashionable Fabindia brand in the use of Muslim Language Urdu in a commercial party dedicated to the main traditional Hindu holiday Diwali. As a result, the firm was forced to withdraw the video. It reports Al Jazeera.

Only two words in Urdu were used in the video: “Jashen-E-Rivaaz”, which means “tradition of traditions” (so on Urdu called the festival Diwali). Right-world activists led by a young parliament deputy from the ruling conservative batch of Bharatius Janat (BJP) were outraged by the fact that the Hindu name was transferred to Urdu. Also in the video were presented models in Muslim outfits.

According to him, this is part of a major project on “marginalization of the Muslim community, in fact, its physical destruction.”

At the same time, Urdu is one of the historical Indian adventures, who came to the country together with the Emir of the Great Mughal, the descendants of Emir Tamerlane, former Muslims.
