The head of state also stressed that the situation in the energy market in Europe remains tense. He noted that the spot prices for gas still exceed 1000 dollars per thousand cubic meters.
“And the gas reserve level in European underground storage facilities is significantly lower than the average for the last five years,” said Putin at a meeting on the resource potential of Yamal in video conferencing mode.
