In Belarus suspended provision of planned medical care

The Ministry of Health of Belarus temporarily suspended the provision of planned medical care against the background of exacerbating the epidemiological situation in the country. The appropriate decree was published on the site of the health authority of the republic.

According to the document, in medical institutions now they will not be treated in day stay departments, dispensarization and screening activities. In addition, rehabilitation of rehabilitation assistance and physiotherapy procedures are suspended.

The decree states that these measures are aimed at “improving the provision of medical care to patients with COVID-19 infection. In this case, it is noted that patients with a light and medium-eyed form of coronavirus, without factors aggravating its course, can be repaid at home.

Earlier, the Minister of Health Dmitry Pinevich said that the situation with the incidence of COVID-19 is serious in all regions of the country. The infectious behavior of the highest category Igor Stoma noted that today the first dose of the vaccine vaccine is 33.4 percent of the population. He added that among the Gomel region hospitalized in the hospitals only 0.25 percent grafts.

October 11 in Belarus per day revealed a record number of contaminated coronavirus – 2038 people. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the country has revealed more than 561 thousand infected. More than four thousand patients died. The country did not introduce severe quarantine restrictions. Lukashenko explained this with economic reasons.
