After the suspension of its mission with NATO, Russia will contact the Alliance through one of the Russian ambassadors in Belgium. This is stated in a statement on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The ministry proposed NATO to choose one of the ambassadors of the Alliance member countries to perform similar functions in Moscow.
Russia will also suspend the activities of the Military Mission Communication of the North Atlantic Alliance in Moscow. Accreditation of its employees will respond on November 1.
