Russian stock market has opened a drop

The Russian stock market has been opened by the fall of the main stock indices on Monday, October 18. The Mosbier index during the trading on the Moscow Stock Exchange fell by 0.33 percent, to 4247.06 points, the RTS index – by 0.53 percent, to 1881.56 points.

The stock market has decreased, despite the record rise in price of oil. The price of Brent Barrel oil has grown to $ 86 for the first time since October 4, 2018. At 10:05 Moscow time Brent cost 85.56 dollars (plus 0.82 percent), WTI – 82.61 dollars (plus 1.08 percent). Gas price dropped to $ 980 per thousand cubic meters.

The dollar exchange rate was 71.17 rubles (plus 0.14 rubles), the euro rate did not change compared to the closure of the previous session – 82.39 rubles.

The leaders of the growth of “blue chips” at 10:10 were TCS Group, “Surguttegaz” and “Polymetal”. The rise in price of shares of these companies did not exceed one percent. Most of all fell at the beginning of trading actions “Magnit” (minus 1.08 percent, up to 6202.5 rubles per share), Sberbank (minus 0.92 percent, up to 368.39 rubles) and Gazprom (minus 0.63 percent , up to 365.48 rubles).
