Brother’s office equipment manufacturer spoke about the problems of his devices when interacting with Windows 11. This is reported by NEOWIN edition.
Problems occur in the case of connecting Brother printers via the USB interface. By unexplained reasons, the interaction between the OS and the device is violated and the system cannot determine the availability of equipment.
In some cases, the brand printers continue to work, however, some functions break. For example, it ceases to function the device setup tool, print distribution, software updates. The problem concerns both inkjet and laser printers brand Brother.
As a temporary measure, the company’s experts recommended to use another connection type – for example, a wireless interface, if such an opportunity is available. Microsoft has not yet responded to malfunctions.
Office equipment users are not first faced with problems in Windows. In July, experts described a way of hacking any PC through the printer. In August, it became known that fraudsters used software for office devices to steal money.
