The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia wanted to oblige multifunctional centers (MFC) from January 1, 2022 to accept the Mir payment system cards and provide citizens with the opportunity to conduct monetary operations through the national payment card system (NSPK). The appropriate draft resolution of the government is posted on the portal of projects of regulatory legal acts.
“In the multifunctional center, the provision of applicants may be organized by the possibility of performing operations
using national payment instruments within the framework of the national payment card system, “the text says. It is planned that such an opportunity will appear from January 1, 2022.
As stated in an explanatory note, the draft resolution was developed following the results of the Ministry of Economic Development of monitoring the possibility of making a payment for state duty and other payments for providing civil servants in the MFC offices in Russian regions. Monitoring revealed cases of poor-quality applicants when they commit the payment of state duty or fees using cash.
Previously, Network International, which is the leader in the e-commerce market in the Middle East and in Africa, provided the UAE trade and service enterprises the technical possibility of receiving the World Maps. The company already connects POS terminals of partner enterprises to the service of “Peace” cards in Dubai and other regions of the country. By the end of 2021, it is planned to set up all the current network terminals for receiving Russian cards.
