FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will give the right to decide on the blocking of Russian translations for ten days. And they can do it without a court decision. The bill with relevant changes has developed Rosfinmonitoring.
The document creates that the translations from maps and electronic wallets will be blocked if the operations are performed in order to pay for narcotic drugs, financing terrorism and extremist activities. Also, the document states that the decision can be accepted “in cases that do not endure declaration, and in the presence of sufficient information” On the use of funds for organizing a rally.
In the explanatory note, the document states that the extrajudicial blocking of operations will be valid only 10 days, “since the suspension of operations entails the restriction of the rights of citizens related to the use and disposal by their funds.” After this period, the blocking can continue to operate, but only by court decision.
