His 50th birthday Hero of Russia, the pilot-cosmonaut of the Russian Federation Oleg Novitsky meets on board the International Space Station under unique circumstances. Now the Russian segment of the station is actually turned into a film discount, where for several days already shooting a “Call” feature film.
The main part of this work is entrusted to the film director of Kim Shipenko and on the actress Julia Peresild. But anyway, all the astronauts are involved in an amazing experiment – the filming of the world’s first game cinema, which are conducted on the ISS.
Oleg Novitsky space training began in 2007. Before enrolling in the cosmonaut detachment, he mastered several types of aircraft and had about 700 hours. Two years later, Oleg Viktorovich successfully completed the course of general-copier preparation, passing state exams with the evaluation “excellent”. Already next, 2010 began prepared as part of the MKS-31/32 duplicating crew as a ship commander and station engineer.
Start the spacecraft “Soyuz TMA-06M” with the ISS-33/34 as a part of Oleg Novitsky, Yevgeny Tarelkin and Kevin Ford was held October 23, 2012. The flight lasted 143 days 16 hours 14 minutes. The crew returned safely to Earth on March 16, 2013. On May 28, 2014, Oleg Viktorovich was awarded a high title of hero of the Russian Federation.
In his second space flight, Oleg Novitskiy went 17 November 2016 as the commander of the ship “Union MS-03” and ISS-50/51, together with ESA astronaut Thomas Sand and NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson. In accordance with the flight program, Oleg Novitsky fulfilled the program of scientific and applied research and experiments, supported the efficiency of the ISS and carried out work on its retrofitting equipment delivered by cargo ships. June 2 lander manned transport spacecraft “Soyuz-03 MS” with the commander of the crew and flight engineer Oleg Novitsky Tom Sand safely returned to Earth. The duration of the flight was 196 days 17 hours 50 minutes.
April 9, 2021, together with the astronaut of Roscosmos, Peter Dubrov and Astronaut NASA Mark Vanda Haem Oleg Novitsky went to his third flight as commander of the crew of TPK “Union MS-18”. During the expedition Oleg Novitsky and Peter Dubrov made three spacewalks, each lasting more than seven hours.
Now before Oleg Novitsky worth another important task – at the end of the shooting process to return to Earth and Climate Shipenko Julia Peresild. The scope of their crew on the ship “Union MS-18” is scheduled for October 17, 2021.
