According to familiar with the plans of the company’s sources, Apple intends to release a new version of iPhone SE in the first half of 2022. At the end of the year, the company will begin the production of the device. It is reported that the updated model will save the design current – 4.7-inch IPS-screen with frames, the Home button with a dactylconus touch ID, single camera.
At the same time, the revealed device will receive a new Apple A15 Bionic chip with 5G support. Due to the fact that the connection of the fifth generation requires an increased energy consumption, the company’s engineers can update the device battery.
Also in the report says that Apple no longer intends to produce mini smartphones. Thus, the iPhone 13 mini presented in September will be the last in the specified line.
Last Apple updated the SE series in March 2020. The original phone line of compact inexpensive devices – iPhone SE – was presented in early 2016.
Previously, analysts reported that Apple’s smartphones of previous generations may be shortage. This is due to the fact that the American company reduced the production of old smartphones in favor of the gadgets of the iPhone 13 series.
