Court in the United States sentenced 22-year-old John Ernest, who attacked the synagogue in California in 2019 and arranged a shooting, to a lifelong imprisonment. It is reported by CNN.

According to the TV company, the verdict provides for a life sentence without the right to early liberation. Iranes managed to avoid the death penalty, as he concluded a deal with justice and recognized himself guilty.

Shooting in the synagogue of the California city of Opea occurred on April 27, 2019. As a result of the incident, one woman died, three more injured. A few hours before the attack, Ernest published a letter of anti-Semitic orders on one of the legoral portals, which called Robert Bauers, who attacked the synagogue in Pittsburgh, as well as Brenton Tarranta, accused of attacking the mosque in the New Zealand city of Christchurch. He also admitted that he began to plan his attack after shooting in New Zealand.
