Zakharova appealed to the official representative of the German Chancellor Steffenu to check with the question of how in Berlin qualify the actions of the Internet platform on the RT blocking. “Does the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany consider such steps” not too good attitude to freedom of printing “?”, “She clarified.
Diplomat also inquired whether the German side is ready to assist in the work of the RT service in Germany to demonstrate the respect of print freedom. Among the examples of such assistance, she called help in solving artificially created banking problems and support for the inadmissibility of removal by American Internet monopolies of news content and distributing its resources.
Previously it became known that two German channels Russia Today were removed Youtube. The video hosting administration said that he first made a warning for the spread of disinformation about the coronavirus and limited the rights of the owners to publish the video. Then RT created a second channel to get around the ban. After that, YouTube deleted both channels.
