Pilotable ship “Union MS-19” is ready for a general assembly with a carrier rocket

On the Baikonur cosmodrome, the transport pilotable ship “Union MS-19” as part of the cosmic head part is sent for a common assembly with a carrier rocket.

Today, September 29, 2021, in the installation and test corps of the site No. 254 Specialists of the Rocket and Space Corporation “Energy” named after S.P. Queen (Roscosmos State Corporation) and Profile enterprises of Roskosmos made a set of technological operations for transporting the ship to the installation and test case of the site No. 31, where they were preparing the head unit to assemble the Soyuz-2.1A rocket.

The launch of the piloted ship “Soyuz MS-19” under the program of the 66th main expedition to the International Space Station is scheduled for October 5, 2021. The main crew of the ship includes: Commander Anton Slipples (Roscosmos) and Russian participants of the space flight – Actress Julia Peresilde and Director Klim Shipenko. Their Doubles – Cosmonaut Roskosmos Oleg Artemyev, Alena Mordovin and Alexey Dudin.
