France called for a speedy restoration of Iranian nuclear transaction

Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Drian, speaking at the UN General Assembly, called for a speedy resumption of negotiations on the restoration of the Iranian nuclear transaction – a joint comprehensive action plan (CSPD). It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“As for the continuation of the Iranian nuclear program, it requires a lot of hardness from us. Iran cannot believe that time plays in his favor. Since the risk of a large crisis increases as his nuclear program becomes more dangerous.” He said.

Iran’s CFD contract was concluded in the summer of 2015 between Tehran and six intermediary countries. Later, Iran was caught in gross violations of agreements. In early May 2018, the United States announced a unilateral exit from the transaction and the resumption of anti-Iranian sanctions. Iran reported a refusal to agreements on CRPD in January 2020.
