Russia: superrailer launched

In Russia, a ceremony of descent to the water of the fishing superravel “Captain Martynov” was held. This ship is the fourth vessel project of the ST-192. It is reported by Telegram-channel RIA Novosti.

Vice Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko emphasized the benefits of the ship. According to her, on the trawlers of the ST-192 project, the level of greenhouse gas emissions on a ton of caught fish is doubled.

In 2019, the Russian Fish Industry Company ordered the construction of the Toralers of the ST-192 project at the Admiraltey Verfi JSC. It is planned to build ten ships. Each vessel of the ST-192 project is calculated on the catch of 60 thousand tons of fish per year.

Previously, British analysts were concerned about the emergence of the Russian oceanographic vessel “Amber” in the territorial waters of Ireland. UK Defence Journal noted that the ship can be used in intelligence missions.
