The new government of Afghanistan expects to receive an invitation to Moscow. This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Provisional Government of the country of Zabilella Mujahide in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“of the Russian Federation is an important neighbor for us, and God will give, when the day comes, we will witness a strong relationship between Kabul and Moscow,” the representative of the Taliban (the movement is recognized as terrorist and prohibited in the Russian Federation) on the visit of the new authorities Afghanistan to Russia.
Mujahid added that the Taliban want to develop relations with Moscow at a high level.
He also stated that Taliban refuses to appoint new ambassadors in those countries that have not announced the recognition of the new Taliban government. This also applies to Moscow – it is expected to establish good diplotes.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow protrudes for the normalization of the situation in Afghanistan and coordinate international efforts to solve the urgent problems.
