On the Baikonur cosmodrome, tests were completed on the tightness of the nodal module “Pier” in the vacuum chamber of the installation and test case No. 254.

The module is currently installed on its workplace and connected to ground test equipment to continue pre-preparation.

The queen is designed to expand the technical and operational capabilities of the Russian segment of the ISS. The removal of “berth” to the near-earth orbit and its docking with the nadra-node of the multi-purpose laboratory module “Science” are planned in November 2021.
