Shares “Mechel” took off by almost 18 percent

The consolidated revenue of the group for the first six months of the year reached 184.9 billion rubles, which represents an increase of 40 percent at the annual level.

Profit amounted to 31.8 billion rubles and increased more than three times. The results in the company explained the rise in prices for almost all types of coal products, coke-chemical products and iron ore concentrate. “Mechel” also reported to increase coal mining for the second quarter by 12 percent.
