Candidate of Estonian president promised to pull Russian language for conversation with Putin

The only candidate for Estonian presidency, director of the Estonian National Museum Alar Caris, announced the need to lead a constructive dialogue with Russia. He stated this on ETV + TV channel.

According to him, Russia is an important regional player, and should be taken into account its foreign policy strategy. He added that in case of his election to the post, he would like to meet with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

“Russia is our neighbor, and therefore we must carefully follow what is happening there. But it is clear that the relationship of Moscow is not only with us, but in general, with the countries of the West, with NATO very sharp,” said Caris, making focus on the importance of establishing the interaction between Russia and NATO member states.

Candidate President of Estonia promised to pull out his knowledge in the Russian language, as he has “rusted”. He explained that during an interview and conversations with Putin would like to communicate without the help of translators.
