The first deputy head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Alexander Sherin in an interview with the radio station “says Moscow” spoke about the serious exacerbation of the conflict between China and the USA.
“In this sense [struggle for the spheres of influence], China today succeeded and for the United States – this is the main threat to themselves for themselves and invented. Until recently, Russia has been such an external contrived aggressor. Now relations between the United States and the PRC are seriously increasing “,” said Sherin.
According to him, Beijing conducts an independent foreign policy, without responding to the sanctions entrusted by Washington. “Therefore, the United States is trying to create such an unfavorable image that supposedly China is a nuclear threat. It’s like cut off a man’s head several times,” the deputy clarified.
He also said that the United States had more efforts to create tensions in the international situation. According to Sherin, this is caused by the desire to substantiate his own military presence in many countries.
In early August, the US authorities declared concerns to the rapid growth of China’s nuclear arsenal. In their opinion, it is dramatically different from Beijing for decades of politics.
