The manufacturer of the new Russian Ak-12 automaton, which is supplied by the military, revealed the features of AK-12. The ergonomic machine can be adapted to the anthropometric parameters of each serviceman. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the group of companies (GC) “Kalashnikov”.
“AK-12 automaton can be adapted to the equipment and anthropometric parameters of each serviceman,” the press service said. In other words, weapons can be adjusted under the growth of the fighter and the length of his shoulders and the forearm.
The press service of the Calashnikov Group of Companies emphasized that AK-12 can be equipped with accessories without additional adapters. “In the framework of the development work,” Warrior “in Russia created collimator and thermal impairs, front handles, and laser targets,” added to the press service.
AK-12 automaton received a polymer pistol handle, a telescopic butt with improved ergonomics. Also, the machine is equipped with transparent shops, allowing to control the ammunition, and a convenient translator of fire modes. This is advantageous distinguishes AK-12 from past models – AK-74 and AK-74M.
AK-12 is being developed as a new regular weapon of the fighter of the Russian Armed Forces. In GK “Kalashnikov” noted that customer reviews about product positive.
In August, it became aware of the strengthening of the 201st Russian military base in Tajikistan. In connection with the situation in Afghanistan, the military transferred new weapons, including AK-12.
