Military teachings of Russia and Belarus “West-2021” demonstrate the readiness of the Russian side to military conflict with Western countries. This was stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MID) of Lithuania, writes Ukrinform.

The agency stressed that Lithuania continues to demand from Russia and Belarus to fulfill international obligations in accordance with the Vienna document and providing information about the size, objectives and scenarios of such military maneuvers.
Previously, the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the “West-2021” teachings should demonstrate the readiness of the armies of the two countries to defense and do not be concretected.
Joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus will be held from 10 to 16 September. During them, the parties will work out the security of the union state.
