In his opinion, the Member States of the Organization should help the residents of Afghanistan and provide modern and comprehensive financing, since the humanitarian catastrophe in the country takes a threatening scale. According to Guterris, today Humanitarian Aid is needed by almost half of the total population of Afghanistan – this is 18 million people.
