Russian President Vladimir Putin received a letter of heads of Rosneft Igor Sechin with a request to resolve the companies to export natural gas through the Agency Agreement with Gazprom. Such information that previously appeared in the media confirmed Vice Prime Minister Alexander Novak, who oversees the issues of energy in the government, reports Interfax.
According to him, the head of state instructed the profile ministries to consider this issue, after which the initiative will be discussed in the government.
Novak recalled that the current legislation makes a Gazprom monopolist in the field of natural gas exports through pipelines. All other questions require consideration.
