15 percent of Russians never took loans. About this RT was told in the National Bureau of Credit Stories (NBS).
According to the Marketing Director, Alexey Volkov Marketing, 85 percent of the economically active population in Russia had or have existing loans. He stressed that at this mark this figure was recorded approximately in 2015 and since then, this share remains approximately the same.
Previously, the President of the SRO “National Association of Professional Collection Agencies” (piping) and Chairman of the Council of the SRO World Elderman Mehtiev said that in early September, the overdue debts of Russians to banks will reach a record mark of 955 billion rubles, and next year it can exceed one trillion. He explained that, despite the growth of absolute indicators, in relative terms since the beginning of the year, debts even decreased and amounted to 4.2 percent in the general portfolio. The greatest amount of non-payment is about 60 percent, is located in the consumer lending segment.
