The Russian military completed the test of a new system of pouring mineral fields. The complex includes a management system that allows you to exercise smart mining, and mining machines for which special mines have created. The system of setting of intellectual minefields consists of an automated control system (ACS), which transmits the command to combat machines ISDM “Agriculture” and UMS-K “tick”. The test of the complex was completed this summer. The testing of the mining complex was held as part of the exercises at the Mulino Polygon. The test results were recognized as successful, “the source reports. He added that the smart mining will be worked out in separate episodes of the upcoming teachings “West-2021”, and since next year, such mine fields will create in all levels.
The key element of the smart mining system is an ACS that selects the optimal placement and configuration of mine-field fields. Also, the control system determines the types of mines in the barrier. After that, the ASU team enters the agriculture and tick machines that carry out mining.
Modern remote mining systems can install barriers using smart mines. So, Mina Pom-3 can filter external stimuli, distinguishing the steps of a person against the background of vibration from passing heavy machinery. In turn, the anti-tank mine PTM-4 received a magnetic target sensor that can activate the ammunition when the armored person is located above the miner.
Also, the mining system was obtained by a pTKM-1R-1R ammunition, allowing you to hit the target to the upper semicife. The mines sensor detects target up to 250 meters away. When the armored person comes into the lesion zone, a throwing ammunition is activated, which throws up a minimum height of several tens of meters. There is a search for a goal with the help of a thermal imager, and an object attack.
On the upcoming teachings “West-2021” will also be used by the use of combat robots “URAN-9”. Unmanned combat platforms will protect military infrastructure from terrestrial and air targets. Joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus “West-2021” will be held from 10 to 16 September.
