In Germany, they answered accusations in financing of Navalny

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Minister) of Germany responded to the charge of financing the founder of the FBK (included the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations performing the functions of a foreign agent and recognized as an extremist organization) Alexei Navalny. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany took note of the accusations of local embassy employees in Moscow. The fact that official departments in Russia design accusations in direct financing of Navalny from Germany is, to put it mildly, absurd,” the report says.

In addition, the representative of the FRG FRG Andrea Zasse noted that the dissemination of information to be protected is a violation of personal rights. “We strongly condemn these actions and require compliance with the personal protection of our employees. We again demand an immediate liberation of Alexey Navalny,” she concluded.

Earlier, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharov in his Telegram-Channel reported that there were dozens of foreign embassies in Russia among the sponsors of Navalny projects in Russia. “The scheme is such: foreign embassies in Russia hired Russian citizens to work, they paid them money, and they then translated funds to the relevant structures,” she shared. According to Zakharova, the most funds were received through US diplomsses and Germany.

In August, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the countries included in NATO pick up the informational stamps of the Navalny team to intervene in the affairs of Russia. It is specified that the hold of the Navalny’s figure on the news agenda in particular is used to influence the election campaign for the State Duma elections, which will be held September 17-19.
