The militants of the radical movement “Taliban” (a terrorist organization forbidden in Russia) have an advantage over the forces of the resistance front in Panjscher province in Afghanistan. This was stated by TV channel “360” Head of the Eurasian Analytical Club Nikita Mendkovich.
“Fights in Panjshter, in any case, as of this night, have not yet been fully completed, although the Taliban really managed to significantly move forward,” the political scientist noted. He concluded that in case of continuing the collisions of the Taliban with the fighters of the opposition, the victory will be on the side of the militants.
Among the causes of the Taliban triumph, the analyst called the larger number of human resources at terrorists. He also pointed out that militants have a large number of weapons, which they got from warehouses thrown by American military.
Previously, the representative of the Taliban Zabilella Mujahid announced that the militants fully control the province of Panjscher. He noted that some rebels fled from the rebellious province, and others were killed in battles. After that, the leader of the resistance front Ahmad Masood turned to the nation with a call to continue the fight against terrorists “in the name of freedom, religion and independence of the country.”
