First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov declared readiness of the union program with Russia on gas, the TV channel “Belarus 1”.

The Belarusian Vice-Premier noted that Minsk, the Russian gas price (128.5 dollars per thousand cubic meters), the best in comparison with all the CIS countries and the EU. “What will continue – that these principles should determine … These principles should form the correct response rates in terms of the Union State,” – he stressed. According to him, it comes to a certain formula, which will be calculated on the price of gas to thus on the general market, it remained at a comfortable level.
Earlier, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Vladimir Makei said that the discussion of the Union State programs will be the main issue of the meeting of the Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, scheduled for September 9.
