Hundreds of Bulgarians went on a protest against new Covid-19 restrictions

In the Bulgarian capital Sofia hosts a nationwide action protest of representatives of entertainment and restaurant business. This is reported by the TASS correspondent.

hundreds of Bulgarians came to the rally to the People’s Assembly, the Presidential President and the Ministry of Health. They also blocked the movement in the central part of the city.

Protesters require restrictions on the work of cafes, restaurants, discos and nightclubs. The participants of the action complain that the authorities do not give them to work, and deprive them of livelihood.

It is reported that citizens from all over Bulgaria gathered for the action. Police hooked all government buildings.

Restrictions against the spread of coronavirus in Bulgaria were again introduced on September 7 and will last until the end of October. There is a new surge in disease in the country. In this regard, mass events are prohibited, clubs closed, limited work hours of restaurants and cafes.
