The users of the social network Tiktok were offered to take a firearm on the assault on the capitol and told how to get into the White House through underground tunnels on the eve of the events of January 6. This is stated in the report of the US Department of National Security (MNS), writes the Rolling Stone edition.
The report claims that extremists use a platform for “recruitment supporters” from October 2019. Some Tiktok users also promote violence and offer different attack ways. MNS does not disclose how exactly extremists manage to circumvent the restrictions that the platform imposes on such content (as a rule, it is removed).
After the elections of the President of the United States in November 2020, supporters of the ex-president of Donald Trump stormed the Capitol. This happened on January 6th. During the riots, the participant of demonstrations and a policeman were killed. The police could lead the storming participants from the Congress building, after which the victory of Byyden was announced.
