Estonia recognizes all Covid-19 vaccines

Estonian authorities intend to allow to enter into the republic to foreigners, vaccinated by all vaccines used in the world, regardless of the manufacturer’s company. This is stated in the response of the Department of the Republic of the Republic to the University of Tallinn, writes DELFI.

“Estonia recognizes those vaccines that are recognized as the original country,” officials assured. They noted that a document confirming immunization should be certified on Estonian, Russian or English, and the drug itself may not be among the European Union approved (EU).

Earlier it became known that the Director General of the Estonian Health Department Yullar Lanno quitted due to the spoiled vaccines from coronavirus in the amount of more than three million euros. The head of the department stressed that he accepted this decision independently, and called himself responsible for the incident.

According to the latest data, from the beginning of the pandemic in Estonia, more than 148 thousand people were infected with coronavirus. Almost one and a half thousand patients became victims of infection. The full course of vaccination was about 576 thousand inhabitants, which is about 43 percent of the total population.
