Roscosmos State Corporation Dmitry Rogozin and Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Aleksey Shmykov visited Scientific and Production Association of the Akademika N.A. Semikhatova (Yekaterinburg, is included in the state corporation “Roscosmos”). During the visit, they demonstrated the process of creating a unique management system for a family of medium-class missile carrier family, the production of the Progress Rocket and Space Center (Samara, also enters Roscosmos).
Roskosmos General Director and Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region visited the production workshops where radio-electronic equipment for “Soyuz-2” type carriers are created. Specialists of the automation NGOs showed the process of manufacturing printed circuit boards and told what tests of the Ural developers are held before entering the rocket hull.
In addition to space developments, Dmitry Rogozin and Alexei Shmykov also appreciated other projects of automation NGOs. Director General Andrei Missura demonstrated an intellectual agricultural equipment management system and showed a security system for transport, which consists of several radars of various ranges and builds a picture of a particular sector with a real location of items.
Our company has traditionally produced management systems for space missiles. Today we are developing new, civil directions. The main thing is agricultural machinery. We have something to offer here, and we will increase the company’s share in the market “smart” systems for agricultural machinery ” , – Added Andrei Missura.
Dmitry Rogozin noted that such developments are resonant for society and that they must be implemented in road transport. First of all, these are safety systems for transport, such as radars who, along with GLONASS, need to be introduced into cars, will prevent sudden trips from the strip.
All these competencies allow automatic NGO employees not only to compete in space and on Earth, but also to confirm their professionalism at WorldSkills Standards Championships. As part of the visit to the enterprise, Dmitry Rogozin met with winners and prize-winners of the VI Corporate Championship “Young Roskosmos – 2021” professionals. The head of the state corporation thanked specialists for professionalism and high level of competences, and also answered their questions.
At the end of the visit, the Director General of Roskosmos State Corporation held a working meeting with the leadership of automatics NGOs, where the current issues of the rocket and space industry discussed.
