Israel’s Ambassador Highed to rapid recognition of Vaccine “Satellite V”

Israeli Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi expressed hope for a quick recognition of the Russian Vaccine “Satellite V”. He told about it in an interview with Izvestia.

Diplomat noted that negotiations are currently undergoing negotiations between Rospotrebnadzor and the Israeli Ministry of Health, the Offices compare the technical data. The second round of dialogue on the issue of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates is expected in the coming days. “At one time, we even provided our ideas in the written form of the Ministry of Health of Russia,” he said. The Israeli ambassador also said that it counts on the successful completion of negotiations until the end of 2021.

At the same time, Ben Zvi added that the recognition of certificates does not mean a complete opening of the borders, because in both countries is not all the population.

Previously, the Senior Specialist of the Immunization Department of the European Bureau of the World Health Organization (WHO) Oleg Benesh stated that the last obstacle to the WHO approved the Russian Vaccine “Satellite V” – a full package of documents on the drug. According to him, after that, the organization will be able to fully assess the vaccine, and then decide on its approval.
