Apple decided to abandon the packaging film from the box with iPhone 13. Before that, the company got rid of one detail – ceased to charge the box with the device, reports Apple Insider.
The company refused to use a plastic film when packing smartphones of the new IPhone 13 line, explaining this initiative about ecology concern. Instead, only a seal sticker will be drawn on the box that will need to pull and tear to access the content.
At the moment, the iPhone 13 has not yet been paid on sale, deliveries are expected on Friday, September 24. Pre-ordered Apple smartphones can be arranged from September 17.
Earlier it was reported that the public release of iOS 15 will be held on September 20. Tablet users and smart watches of the brand will also be able to install iPados 15 and WatchOS 8 on their devices, respectively, starting from Monday.
Announcement of smartphones of the iPhone 13 series took place on September 14. All series devices are equipped with the A15 BIONIC processor, however, the version of the chip for PRO versions is more powerful versions for basic iPhone 13 and 13 mini models, reported on the Apple website.
