Negotiations between the representatives of the “Taliban” radical movement (prohibited in Russia) and the forces of resistance in the Afghan province Panjscher will be held in Dushanbe. This was stated by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon, reports Telegram-channel “Sputnik Afghanistan”.
According to him, representatives of Tajikistan and Pakistan will be attended at the meeting. Rakhmon also stressed the need to stabilize the socio-political situation in Afghanistan to ensure the normal life of Afghans and protect the safety of all countries in the region.
On September 17, the Taliban began forced mobilization of young Afghans in Kabul. According to the plan of radicals, young people must go to fight the front of Afghanistan’s resistance in Panjsheter. At the same time, terrorists apply cruel punishment to those who refuse to go fight with the rebels.
Previously, the Taliban announced the desire to create an Afghan regular army. According to militants, it will allow preventing the inner war in Afghanistan. At the expense of regular troops, the Taliban plans to defeat the rebels in Panjshter. Also in the “Taliban” added that they would not allow the resistance front to “wraggrim the earth in the blood of Afghans.”
In early September, the Taliban stated that they were starting a military operation in Panjsheter to destroy the rebels after peaceful negotiations failed with resistance leaders. In a dialogue with militants, the leader of the rebel Ahmad Masood demanded that they coordinate all the decisions of the new government with the front of the resistance, as well as allow Pangescher defenders to keep weapons and military equipment.
