The grandson of the Creator of Soviet Rocket and Space Technology Sergey Queen spoke about the attempt of Ilona Mask to buy rockets in Russia. The words of Andrei Queen, who visited the Spacex chapter, are given in an interview with RT.
According to his story, Ilon Mask 20 years ago planned to buy a written off ballistic missile. The entrepreneur was interested in the technologies for creating rockets, not a combat part, stressed Korolev. He added that the mask, which was the “30-year-old guy,” twice refused, and it became an impetus to the creation of their own carrier and engines.
In early September, Andrei Korolev spoke about the visit to the Spacex plant and a meeting with Ilona Mask. He invited a relative of the Soviet scientist on a tour.
