Xiaomi has shown its first smart glasses Smart Glasses. This is reported by the publication GSM Arena.
The device is characterized by classic form factor, glasses can display information on embedded screens. Also using the gadget, you can call calls, read messages, take photos and videos. In addition, the device has an automatic translator function.
Two MicroLED Displays are built into the clock lenses. According to representatives of the company, each pixel size is about four micrometers, which made it possible to place screens in the lenses. Announced accessory was created based on technology, which allows you to refract light and safely direct it into a human eye. Smart glasses is equipped with a five-megapixel camera, microphones and speakers.
The device is based on an ARM processor, has a touch surface for control, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Glasses weigh about 50 grams and work on the basis of Android OS. Connections to the phone for full-fledged work is not required.
Representatives of the company did not reveal plans for the launch of hours on sale and report the estimated cost of the accessory.
Previously, insiders reported that Apple leads work on smart glasses. As it became known to sources, the full operation of the device will be carried out only when connected to the iPhone.
