Taliban rejected accusations of human rights defenders in war crimes

Militants of the Taliban Radical Movement (a terrorist organization forbidden in Russia), who seized power in Afghanistan, rejected the accusations of the Human Rights Watch (HRW) human rights organization in war crimes. This is reported by TASS with reference to the official representative of the movement Zabilella Mujahid.

Taliban representative denied the data presented in the report of the organization, and urged not to base similar documents on disinformation. “They should carefully study the facts of what happened in the Afghan provinces,” he stressed.

In early August, HRW published a report in which talked about the cruel acts of the Taliban during the offensive in Afghanistan. In particular, according to the organization, in the provinces of Kandahar and Gazni the militants without a court decision executed detainees, police and civilians who collaborated with the United States. Human rights defenders emphasized that such executions are equal to war crimes.

Earlier it was reported that the militants “Taliban” rejected accusations in the shelter of the leader of the Al-Qaida grouping (the terrorist organization prohibited in Russia) Ayman Az-Zawahiri. The militants also stated that reports of their help terrorists do not correspond to reality.
