For families of Russian citizens – even those who have foreign citizenship – organize new export flights from Kabul International Airport. It became known from the interview with the Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Ivan Volykina RIA Novosti.
So the diplomat commented on the information that Afghans with passports of the Russian Federation were not allowed for past export flights from the country. “The efforts of Russian executive bodies were concentrated, first of all, on the return of Russian citizens who wish to leave Afghanistan,” said Volynkin.
According to him, now the Foreign Ministry is ready to remove members of families with foreign citizenship. The new exporting flight is planning to organize until late September.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador in Kabul Dmitry Zhirnov noted that Russia organizes exporting flight from Afghanistan for its citizens until the end of September, citizens of the CSTO countries will also be able to fly from the country.
