Russia optimized the composition of his embassy in the capital of Afghanistan. This was stated by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov, reports TASS.
Diplomat said that the Russian diplotment in Kabul continues to work. At the same time, according to him, almost all family members of the embassy staff, including women and children, were evacuated. Lavrov noted that the remaining “combal team” provides Moscow very useful information, which is used in contacts with foreign partners.
Earlier, Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Ivan Volynkin reported that for families of Russian citizens – even those who have foreign citizenship – organize new export flights from the International Airport of the Afghan capital. People plan to evacuate until the end of September.
