Moldova declared a state of emergency due to Covid-19

In Moldova from September 10 to October 30, a state of emergency is introduced due to the sharp growth of the number of infected coronavirus in all parts of the country. This was announced by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Alla Nerumenko, reports “Sputnik Moldova.”

According to her, during this period, sanitary measures will be strengthened throughout the country. In particular, citizens older than 18 years will be allowed to attend public events only if there is a certificate about the passage of vaccination or certificate of the transferred COVID-19 over the past six months.

At the same time, the minister stressed that within five days the authorities will discuss the strategy to combat infection and can declare new restrictions. They intend to revise old practices to counter the virus and update them into a single plan.

According to the latest data, from the beginning of a pandemic coronavirus in Moldova, more than 272 thousand people were infected. Almost 6.5 thousand people became victims of infection. The full course of vaccination against the disease passed about 570 thousand people, which is about 20 percent of the total population.

Earlier, Moldova wanted to ask Russia to help her get rid of ammunition from Transnistria. The President of the Republic of Maya Sanda stated that Chisinau and Moscow had already agreed on the interaction on this issue. At the same time, the timing of the start of work on the destruction of shells is not called any of the parties.
