President of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso decided to sell one of two personal aircraft for saving the country’s budget. This politician reported in his twitter -AktTer.

According to the head of state, to rationalize government spending and balance the national budget, it is necessary to sell unproductive, inefficient or unnecessary assets. In this regard, he instructed to exhibit the LEGACY EMB-135 BJ plane for sale, which he was identified as the current Ecuador president.

It is known that the board mentioned was bought by the authorities of Ecuador in 2008 for 28 million dollars (two billion rubles). The aircraft is equipped with three cabins, kitchen and storage chamber, and can accommodate 14 passengers.

According to a published document, the plane can be operated only in “exceptional situations”. There is a chance that after the sale, the ship can be exported from the country.
