The press of the PRC appeared new pictures of the “Chinese Javelin” – a new generation anti-tank missile complex (FIGR). Official photos of Chinese fighters with new weapons published the edition of Sohu.
The pictures depict a servicemen of one of the teams of the 78th Army Group of the Northern Command of the People’s Liberation Army of China (NAK). The fighters carry a new FDRK, which is externally similar to the American FGM-148 Javelin FGM-148 FIGR. Such a complex has already been seen in the pictures of the fighters of the Western combat command Noak.
In 2014, Chinese manufacturers presented new third-generation FEDERs. One of the new products was Norinco HJ-12, which appears outwardly on the complex shown in the pictures.
HJ-12 works on the principle “shot and forgotten”. The infrared head of the homing captures the target that allows the operator to change the position immediately after starting. A rocket with a tandem combat part may strike up to 1100 millimeters of armor for dynamic protection. When attacking the armored goals, the rocket is focused on the defeat of the upper hemisphere, which makes HJ-12 similar to Javelin, working on the same principle.
