On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, the branch of the Scientific and Production Center of the Automation and Instrument Development named after Academician N.A. Pilyugina “(NPCAP, is part of the state corporation” Roscosmos “) celebrates the 75th anniversary.
Plant “Star” – cradle of rocket instrument making. Immediately after the Great Patriotic War, the most difficult production of the first instruments of control systems were established here, and then in the 50s, high-precision gyroscopes were developed. For its history, the plant acquired a solid reputation in the industry, the unique products of the collective are used in most country’s rocket and space projects.
In 2008, the star “Star” became part of the integrated structure of the NPCAP, which gave a new impetus to the development of the plant. In the past 10 years, the production and economic activity of the “Star” plant is characterized by an increase and optimization of the capacity of the enterprise. The growth of labor productivity is provided by raising the level of personnel qualifications, reconstruction and technical re-equipment.
