Belarus will buy a million doses of the Chinese production vaccine SINOPHARM from coronavirus infection. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Health, the chief sanitary doctor Alexander Tarasenko, writes BelTA.
According to him, the supply of drug is expected in September, and the vaccine purchases documents are already fully agreed by both parties. Tarasenko also noted that this issue in the Ministry of Health of the Republic was resolved with the active mediation of representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and the Embassies of China and Belarus.
As the Deputy Minister told, the Chinese authorities also decided to direct 500 thousand doses of vaccine as humanitarian aid, due to which the party in the amount of 1.5 million vaccines arrives in Belarus.
Earlier, the Minister of Health of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich reported that citizens would begin to instill with the domestic vaccine from Coronavirus in the first half of 2023. Prior to this, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, pointed out that the country would be able to receive hundreds of millions of dollars from exporting his vaccine, which would significantly replenish the budget of the republic.
