Germany suggested “Northern Flow-2” challenge loss of Europe

Nord Stream 2 AG, the construction operator “Northern Flood-2”, lost in the Supreme Land Court of Düsseldorf, the case of the release of the gas pipeline from the norms of the updated Gas Directive EC. Companies proposed to challenge the decision in the Federal Court of Germany, writes RIA Novosti with reference to the department.

At the same time, the court in Germany did not consider the issues of entering the pipeline into operation. “Will the Northern Stream-2 put into operation when and under what conditions is not a subject of court decision,” the message is noted.

Loss Nord Stream 2 AG in the dispute with Europe is not a question of the Kremlin, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Sadkov said. He stressed that “Northern Stream-2” – “exclusively commercial project, an international commercial project”, and its purpose is the energy security of the whole of Europe.

Previously, Nord Stream 2 AG sued the Decision of the Federal Network Agency BundesNetzagentur, which did not release the “Northern Stream-2” from the updated EU Gas Directive.

The latter disseminates previously acting restrictions on gas pipelines coming around the sea. Their operators should not be controlled by the mining company. Otherwise, half of the power of the highway must be reserved under independent suppliers. In the case of “Northern Flow-2”, this means that pumping on it should be reduced twice from possible.
