Belgium has data about the preparing terrorist attack at Kabul airport. Because of these reports, the country’s authorities decided to stop the operations on evacuation and the conclusion of all personnel from the Afghan capital, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo told. It quotes RIA Novosti.
“The situation at the airport became chaotic. In addition, from different sources, including from the United States, information about the upcoming terrorist attack,” added politician. According to him, the same decision was made by colleagues from other European countries.
After the power in Afghanistan captured the Taliban terrorist movement (prohibited in the Russian Federation), the Belgian Air Force aircraft committed 23 evacuation flights to Kabul Airport. They evacuated more than 1400 people.
Now part of the escaped citizens of Belgium is in Pakistan. So far, the country intends to preserve the presence of a limited group of its military and diplomats in Pakistan for the possible evacuation of those who still remain in Afghanistan.

Pentagon representatives also talked about threats of terrorist attacks in Kabul. The militants of the IG-Horacean group (the branch of the terrorist organization “Islamic State” prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation) threatened to arrange terrorist attacks on the approaches to Kabul International Airport.
