Scientists have discovered a way to reduce spread of Covid-19

Scientists of the South Ural State University (SUURGU) talked about the way to prevent the distribution of COVID-19 in closed premises. The results of their research were published in the journal of Journal of Hazardous Materials, RIA Novosti reports.

Researchers note that due to the circulation of air, observance of the distance in working and training premises does not always protect against coronavirus, which is transmitted from a person to a person mainly by air-droplet. Specialists with a hydrodynamic study found that the correct location of partitions is one of the most spectacular ways to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses in a closed space.

Senior Researcher of the Department of Hydraulics and Hydropneum Systems The Polytechnic Institute of Journs Afrasab Khan said that this study could help companies support the usual rhythm of work and avoid the introduction of quarantine measures. It is noted that in the future, on the basis of hydrodynamic studies, scientists expect to develop instructions that will allow various enterprises and public spaces to function as usual.

Previously, British scientists found out that most of the victims of COVID-19 in hospitals have become infected from other patients, and not from medical workers. The researchers studied data on the proliferation of coronavirus in the Addenbruck hospital in Cambridge during the first wave of the Pandemic COVID-19 – from March to June 2020. Scientists drew attention to five branches where many people became coronavirus in a short time – both patients and hospital staff. Results of the study once again emphasize the presence of “super-prostitutes” of coronavirus – 21 percent of patients caused 80 percent of COVID-19 infection cases.
